Cargill Foods Limited is the Canadian subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Cargill Inc., an international provider of food, agriculture and risk management products and services. Cargill Limited is one of Canada’s largest food merchandisers and processors.
This project -- the biggest investment in the history of the city of Chambly – consisted of a meat processing facility, distribution centre and regional office measuring 133,000 ft2, including 75,000 ft2 of refrigerated and frozen areas and 15,000 ft2 of offices.
DIVCO’s mandate was design-build, which included Canadian Food Inspection Agency certification, a variety of accreditations and the selection of all local professionals to work on this project.
The project was completed on a “fast track” accelerated delivery in 10 months.
