This industrial project, strategically located near highways 440, 13, and 15 involved the construction a distribution center for Dollarama, a well-known Canadian retailer in Laval. The 515,000 sq. ft. building meets best in class industry standards, featuring 39 foot clear height, 46 loading docks, 2 ground-level doors, and incorporating 10,000 sq. ft. of office space.
Prior to construction, Divco performed dynamic compaction across the entire construction site to densify and stabilize the soil. The exterior facade of the building is aesthetically pleasing, with almost complete coverage in brick to meet city requirements.
This new complex allows Dollarama to expand its distribution capacity, marking its sixth center built in Quebec.
