Reebok Canada, a subsidiary of Reebok International Ltd., is responsible for the marketing and the distribution of all Reebok athletic footwear and athletic apparel products throughout Canada. Reebok International is a British footwear and apparel company, subsidiary of German sports giant Adidas.
This 350,000 ft2 project entailed the construction of a head office building and distribution centre. The 30’ high warehouse includes both integrated and self-supported storage mezzanines, a very narrow aisle racking arrangement with wire-guided lift trucks, two separate loading docks, and a high level of security. Vertical strip windows bring daylight into the warehouse.
The 65,000 ft2 office block includes a two-level atrium, full service cafeteria and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The exposed structure, interior brick elements, clerestory windows and natural wood accents give the offices a contemporary “loft” feel, flooded with natural daylight.
This project was completed on a “fast track” accelerated delivery basis in one year.
The distribution center was expanded twice during construction after Reebok acquired The Hockey Co.
