Point Zero
Point Zero is the largest Canadian producer of men’s, women’s and children’s coordinated sports and street wear.
This project entailed building a new head office and distribution centre for Point Zero. The 200,000 ft2 facility included 100,000 ft2 of warehousing space. The remainder was divided between office space (75,000 ft2) and showrooms. The mandate included all base-building and finishing work. The building also included a 4,000 ft2 photo studio, a large atrium with a coffee shop for clients and employees, as well as a rooftop heliport. All showroom lighting was custom-designed to facilitate the presentation of some 1,700 samples presented every season.
The exterior involved the use of precast concrete exterior wall panels. The walls were detailed with the use of horizontal elements, giving the large surfaces the look and feel of traditional masonry.
The project was completed on a “fast track” accelerated delivery basis.
