XTL Transports
The completion of the XTL distribution center marks DIVCO’s fifth major industrial mandate in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. This 375,000 sq. ft. facility was engineered for high-velocity operations, featuring a 40-foot clear height and 35 loading docks to optimize vertical storage and logistical flow. To ensure long-term structural integrity under the stress of heavy-vehicle traffic, the expansive storage yard was constructed using roller-compacted concrete (RCC), a high-performance paving solution chosen for its superior durability and load-bearing capacity.
The scale of the infrastructure is further defined by the integration of over 1,500 tons of structural steel, providing the framework necessary for a distribution hub of this magnitude. This project was executed to support the sustained national expansion of XTL, contributing to a total footprint of 2.5 million sq. ft. of managed space across the country. By prioritizing precision in the building envelope and specialized exterior surfacing, DIVCO delivered a robust, high-performance asset tailored to the demanding requirements of the transportation and logistics sector.
