Imperial Tobacco Canada is Canada’s leading tobacco company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of British American Tobacco, which is a British multinational cigarette and tobacco manufacturing company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It is the largest publicly traded tobacco company in the world.

This Class “A” Head Office building is comprised of four large above-grade office floors. A finished basement was provided to maximize the area due to height constraints. It includes a fitness centre, full service restaurant and a sunken landscaped dining terrace.

The facility features an impressive 24-foot glass curtain wall within the cafeteria. The exterior is composed of an outer envelope of glass, polished aluminum, granite and brick, including 20,000 ft2 of frosted glass for the walls of offices and conference halls. Its spacious layout, its neat and elegant finish as well as its luxurious facilities make it a high-end building and a prestigious address.

This project was completed on a “fast track” accelerated delivery basis in 15 months and value-engineered in order to meet budgetary constraints. In addition, this 175,000 ft2 trendsetting project spearheaded a wave of new development in the once derelict St-Henri neighborhoods.

It also won the Armatura Award in the institutional and commercial category from the Quebec Reinforcing Steel Institute.
