The Canadian Centre for Architecture is an international research institution whose specific aim is to increase public awareness of the role of architecture in contemporary society and promote research in the field.

This project involved the construction and renovation and expansion of a 160,000 ft2 museum of architecture and research centre, including an entire floor of exhibition space, a book store, a study center, an auditorium, conservation offices, restoration laboratories, archives and storage areas. Detailed research into the latest construction methods and technologies was performed to ensure that this project was state-of-the- art. The goal was to renovate and restore a historic building that would last another 100 years.

CCA has won several awards in North America and Europe, including the Honor Award for Architecture from the American Institute of Architects and the Governor General's Medal in Architecture.
